I plan to dress up as Sally Jupiter or the Silk Spectre 1 from Watchemen for Fanexpo in August so I thought I’d try out the victory rolls and bangs today. Needs a bit of work, but by the end of next month I think I can get it.
Humidity is just cramping my hair. I wish I had things to put up on here, but I’ve been wearing it straight or trying my hardest to get a 60s sex kitten look and failing.
I haven’t given up on my vintage dreams, I recently bought a girdlette garter belt from What Katie Did and some seamed stockings.
I went to my friends house and I sewed a square
a beginning of a quilt like thing. I’ve never sewed before but I’m really eager to learn so I can learn how to sew my own clothes from vintage patterns. I’ve got a long way to go, but underneath my frightened smile I was really excited.
Anyone have any advice ? On a sewing machine? a place to start with clothes making ? vintage patterns ?
It would be much appreciated!
My Grandmother 1965 and now.

Well I lightened my blue hair with color fix to light blue and dyed over it with a lime green Manic Panic and then did the roots with a dark green Punky Color
